I know how to intentionally drop stitches and "reravel" them when I find a mistake in a previous row - a stitch that should have been a knit but is a purl, or vice versa. I'm always impressed with myself when I get to use that trick.

I love my ballwinder and swift.

I constantly commit (sometimes just internally) to knitting things for people, and while I like the idea, I don't like the actuality.

I recently did the on-purpose drop down to mistake thing. I had purled instead knitted, and I dropped down to fix the mistake.

I do your X thing too. If I had more time and/or knitter faster, maybe I would get to all of these gift projects.

Isn't dropping the stitch on purpose so gratifying? I told my sister I'd fugred it out and she basically said, "yeah, duh?!"

I should pick fun projects and then give the things if I feel the urge, rather than ask people what they want first.
