A Finished Knit for a Finished Year

A little something for mom.

If I play my cards right there might be another FO tomorrow. That would be a hell of a way to start the new year.

for 2005? A silk garden beanie if all goes as planned.

I plan to finish out the year with some yarn shopping, also.

World's Funnest Knit

I have a fuzzy foot. Two evenings to complete. I hope to gift them on Friday night or Saturday morning. Seems doable. I guess.

The blue socks were agita inducing, and never going to be done in time.

Toe Up socks

Sooo gratifying. These are for mom, for Christmas, in Lang Bebe superwash:

My plan to knit for the youngest ones first and go up changed. Now I'm knitting for who I like best. Or want to win over. (SO's SIL's slippers are next in the queue. She's in the "win over" category.)

And since I deserve somehing lovely after all this generous gift knitting, so Cascade Magnum for my scarf:

And Pastaza for a cardigan/shrug from Suss Designs:

The color is called olde rose. Its not *quite* as hot pink as it seems with the flash.

Snow Day!*

Seems like a waste on a Sunday, anyway, but I'll take it.

Trying to read Crazy Aunt Purl while knitting is ambitious, no? And giving me a stiff neck.

*its like an inch of slush, but still...
